TITLE : Consumer Resource Coordinator
BIWEEKLY SALARY : $1,463.27 - $2,270.02
STARTING DATE : Position Open Until Filled
POSITION DESCRIPTION : Under the supervision of the Program Manager, is responsible for the coordination of activities designed to identify, develop and utilize new community resources on behalf of the agency's consumers. Works with vendors to improve the quality of proposed or existing resources. Has no supervisory responsibility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/CRITICAL CLASS REQUIREMENTS :
EDUCATION : Masters in social work, psychology, public health nursing or a related field from an accredited school.
OR
BA in social work, psychology, or a related field, or a BS in nursing from an accredited school.
EXPERIENCE : One year experience in developmental disabilities or a related field.
OR
Field placement at IRC as part of education program.
OTHER : Full use of an automobile, possession of a valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance for the minimum amount prescribed by law or ability to provide for independent transportation. Must have and maintain a safe driving record.
May be required to be bilingual.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : These job duties are performed in the office and the community. Daily, they require the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time; and at least on a weekly basis, the ability to walk some distances on uneven terrain and to enter inaccessible facilities. These duties require the ability to operate office machinery requiring manual dexterity. Daily, 6-8 hours of reading, writing, and phone work are required. Good oral and written communication skills are required daily. The use of an automobile is required on a daily basis.
