Consumers and Families
Once your eligibility for services is established, you or your family member will be assigned a Consumer Service Coordinator (CSC) who will be your primary contact and partner at the regional center. A Consumer Service Coordinator is a professional in the area of developmental disabilities and is knowledgeable about resources, supports and services that you or your family member might want or need. Your assigned Consumer Service Coordinator will be part of a team of staff who work in your specific geographic region and will be familiar with the services available in your neighborhood and community. If you are the parent of a child from birth to three years of age, you will be assigned an Infant Service Coordinator from our Early Start Program. A Consumer Service Coordinator or an Infant Service Coordinator is considered a Mandated Reporter and is obligated to report suspicion of or knowledge of the abuse of a child, dependent adult or elder whom they encounter during the course of their work. Whenever possible, we will provide a Consumer Service Coordinator who speaks your primary language. Inland Regional Center has a multi-cultural staff which reflects the ethnic and cultural diversity of our service area. |
