Who We Serve

Inland Regional Center was designed to provide advocacy for and assistance to our developmentally disabled population of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. To qualify for these services, a person must live within either of these two counties and must be diagnosed with a developmental disability, which means:

It is a disability that continues or is expected to continue indefinitely.
It is a substantially handicapping condition.
The developmental disability includes one of the following:

  • Epilepsy
Handicapping conditions closely related to mental retardation requiring treatment similar to that required for mentally retarded individuals. The law further states that a developmental disability shall not include conditions that are:
  • Solely Psychiatric Disabilities
