TITLE : Consumer Services Coordinator
BIWEEKLY SALARY : $1,463.27 - $2,270.01
STARTING DATE : Position Open Until Filled
POSITION DESCRIPTION : Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager/Assistant Program Manager, is responsible for the direct case management services offered to consumers by the program; serves consumers and see to it that entire case management process with concomitant authorizations and paperwork is completed; has advocacy responsibilities and may be assigned community liaison tasks. Performs related work as assigned. Has no supervisory responsibility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/CRITICAL CLASS REQUIREMENTS :
EDUCATION : BA in social work, psychology, or a related field, or a BS in nursing from an accredited school
EXPERIENCE : One year of experience in developmental disabilities or a related field, or field placement at IRC as part of education program.
OTHER : Full use of an automobile, possession of a valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance for the minimum amount prescribed by law or ability to provide for independent transportation. Must have and maintain a safe driving record.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : The majority of these job duties are performed in the field and in the office. The use of an automobile and the ability to drive is absolutely required on a daily basis. The ability to sit, stand or walk for moderate distances on uneven or difficult terrain and the ability to enter inaccessible facilities is also required on a daily basis. Daily, 4-6 hours of reading, writing, and phone work are required. Good oral and written communication skills are required as is the ability to utilize office equipment requiring manual dexterity.
