Transportation Transportation services are available to adult consumers of Inland Regional Center who are attending a day activity program or are engaged in gainful employment. Inland Regional Center encourages the use of public fixed route transportation by any consumer who is able to benefit from this type of service, as it is the most integrated, least restrictive form of transit. Use of this type of service is reviewed by the consumer’s planning team to determine whether such services will meet the consumer’s transit needs. Travel training may be available to complement the consumer’s ability to access and utilize the public fixed route system. Curb-to-curb transportation is an additional option available to consumers who are identified as being in need of more restrictive services as a result of their determined inability to utilize less-restrictive options. If you have questions, comments or concerns regarding transportation services for people with developmental disabilities in Riverside or San Bernardino County, please contact Tiki Thompson, Program Manager for Resource Development & Transportation, at 909-890-3473 or via email at tthompson@inlandrc.org.
