  • IRC has been serving people with developmental disabilities in San Bernardino and Riverside counties for more than 40 years. We currently provide services to more than 30,000 Consumers making us the largest of 21 regional centers in California.     Contract Positions

    IRC contracts with clinical professionals to provide assessments and additional services on behalf of Inland Regional Center. Candidates interested in applying for these positions must contact our Clinical Services team, who will review and screen applicants. Kindly do not contact IRC’s Human Resources department for these positions.

    Position Type: Consultant (Independent Contractor)

    Summary: The Bilingual Psychologist will meet with Inland Regional Center (IRC) applicants to determine eligibility, on the basis of Intellectual Disability or Autism Spectrum Disorder. Assessments will take place at Inland Regional Center offices. The Bilingual Psychologist will complete detailed reports explaining the findings of their psychological assessments. The Bilingual Psychologist will also act as a part of the eligibility team and explain findings and determination to applicants. Ideal candidates for this position are detail oriented, flexible, team oriented, and able to maintain a consistent schedule.

    Qualifications: Ph.D. or Psy.D. and current psychology license issued by the California Board of Psychology.

    Additional Requirements: Must be fluent in Spanish and able to conduct assessments, evaluations, and testing in Spanish.

    Position Type: Consultant (Independent Contractor)

    Summary: Provide speech assessment services to different age groups, primarily Early Start infants/toddlers (up to age 3) and Transition Age young adults (early 20s). Assessments will typically take place at Inland Regional Center with occasional field work. The Speech Therapist will complete detailed reports explaining the findings of their assessments, and communicate their findings as a member of an IRC multi-disciplinary team.

    The Speech Therapist will also screen individuals who can benefit from assistive technology and when appropriate, will set-up communication devices and train IRC Consumers on how to use them. Ideal candidates will have experience in Augmentative Assistive Communication (AAC) assessments and have a strong grasp of various AAC technology.

    Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current license issued by the California State Board of Speech-Language Pathology.
