On August 7, our Community Engagement department hosted its first IRC Recess event! Inland Regional Center employees were encouraged to unleash the inner child, and run, skip, and play through their break time!

IRC Recess was put together by our Community Engagement team in an effort to encourage having fun at work.

Employees enjoyed some fun in the sun, including activities like four square, hopscotch, hot potato (with water balloons), Simon says, and more!

IRC Recess was sponsored by the Consumer Advisory Committee, who were available on hand with Handi-Snacks, Capri Suns, Fruit Roll Ups, as well as information on their upcoming activities.  Our staff definitely had a blast!

The Consumer Advisory Committee is a social and advocacy group for IRC clients 16 and older. To stay up to date on the CAC as well as upcoming IRC events and trainings follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Or sign-up for our quarterly newsletter.
