2018 Holiday Celebrations: An IRC Photo Story

Team IRC had a fun and festive December 2017! We took the holiday season as the perfect opportunity to celebrate with our Consumers and their families.

We even snuck in a little fun for ourselves. Check out this photo recap and see for yourself.

Holidays from the Heart

Hosted by: IRC’s ICF Unit

With Sponsorship from: In-Roads Creative Programs

Guests: Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) residents and staff

Festivities included: breakfast with friends, Santa photos, dancing, and raffles galore

Winter Wonderland Dance

Hosted by: The IRC Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC)

Guests: IRC Consumers (ages 16 and older) and their guests

Festivities included: dancing, sweets, treats, and a very serious ugly sweater contest!

Another Way Toy Drive

Hosted by: Another Way, a volunteer organization made up of IRC staff

With Sponsorship from: Inland Respite, Pathways, Inc., and In-Roads Creative Programs, Kaiser, 24Hr Home Health Care, Shella, Ingram Micro, Maulin Home Care, and the Law Offices of Sheela A. Stark

Guests: IRC Consumers and their families, nominated by their Service Coordinator

Festivities included: Santa photos, a pizza party, a visit with Star Wars characters, serenades by Christmas Carolers, face painting, free books and more!

Prior to the Toy Drive, Service Coordinators gathered gift wish lifts from the children who would be attending the event. The children’s “wishes” were placed on Christmas trees here at IRC, as well as at the offices of community partners, Ingram Micro and Schnieder. Employees then got to “play Santa” by selecting wish cards from the trees and buying a gift to help make an IRC kiddo’s Christmas a little brighter.
