The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) has released a document addressing “Frequently Asked Questions” regarding Alternative Non-Residential Services, or in other words, services that may have been changed or modified due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The official DDS directive from August 31, 2020 can be found below.

(Excerpt taken from document.)

“Alternative Services is a way for consumers to receive nonresidential services that may have been disrupted by the COVID-19 State of Emergency. Service providers can offer supports that differ from their traditional program design and respond to any new needs and interests that have emerged as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

We hope this document will be helpful to you during these uncertain times.  Should you have any questions or concerns regarding services, please contact your Service Coordinator.
