The Disaster Go Bag Drive-Up Distribution Event occurred on 12/16/2023 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Inland Regional Center campus at 1425 South Waterman Ave, San Bernardino, CA.

The Disaster Go Bag Drive-Up Distribution Event is part of IRC and DDS’s ongoing commitment to the well-being and safety of our community members, especially those with developmental disabilities and their families. This event aimed to provide essential resources to help pre-identified individuals who live in high-fire areas with a disaster go-bag.

“We believe that being prepared for emergencies is vital for the safety and well-being of all community members, including those with developmental disabilities. Our Disaster Go Bag Drive-Up Distribution Event is a proactive step towards ensuring that everyone has access to essential resources during times of crisis,” said Dr. CJ Cook, Program Administrator at Inland Regional Center.

The event was a drive-up distribution, allowing for a safe and contactless experience. Participants were encouraged to arrive in their vehicles and follow event staff instructions for a smooth distribution process.

In addition to the Go Bag distribution, representatives from IRC will be available to answer questions and provide information on emergency preparedness and resources available to individuals with developmental disabilities.
