You have the right to make choices about your life and what services and supports you need to succeed! That includes work, living independently, the relationships you want, or how you want to spend your time in the community. It’s all outlined in the Lanterman Act, California’s law that says what rights and services people with intellectual and developmental disabilities have to live the lives they desire.
