On September 11, 2024, Inland Regional Center (IRC) hosted its second annual Early Start Vendor Fair, dedicated to fostering connections and enhancing early intervention services for our youngest clients. The event was a vibrant gathering of early start vendors, infant service coordinators, and community members committed to ensuring that every child receives the support they need during their most critical developmental years.

Building Bridges for Better Outcomes

The Early Start Vendor Fair was more than just an event—it was a celebration of the teamwork and dedication of those working behind the scenes to positively impact the lives of infants and toddlers. Throughout the day, vendors and service coordinators engaged in meaningful discussions exchanged ideas, and explored innovative approaches to early intervention, all while gathering valuable resources for the families they serve. This spirit of collaboration is at the core of what makes the IRC community exceptional.

“The connections we make here today are crucial,” said IRC Early Start Program Manager Robin Ferguson. “These relationships allow us to provide personalized, effective support to the families we serve. The Vendor Fair allows us to learn more about the resources available and how we can better coordinate services to meet each child’s unique needs.”

Strengthening Community Ties

The event also provided a valuable opportunity for service coordinators to gain deeper insights into the available resources and to strengthen the ties between IRC and its community partners. These relationships are essential for creating a seamless support network for the families who rely on IRC’s services.

“Today is all about creating lasting relationships,” said IRC’s Event Developer, Tania Sanchez. “The connections we establish here directly influence the quality of services our families receive. When we collaborate, we can accomplish much more for the children we serve.”

Looking to the Future

As the day drew close, there was a sense of optimism and excitement for the future. The Early Start Vendor Fair is a testament to the power of collaboration and the unwavering dedication of everyone involved in the early intervention process.

“Each time we gather like this, it reinforces the strength of the incredible community we have at IRC,” said Jonathan Eckrich, Program Administrator for Children’s Services in Riverside County. “We’re united by a common purpose—to positively impact children’s lives. And that’s truly something to celebrate.”

Inland Regional Center looks forward to continuing these important conversations and working hand-in-hand with our vendors, coordinators, and community partners to support the developmental needs of children across the region. Together, we are building a brighter future, one connection at a time.
