This past Saturday, April 26, 2025, Inland Regional Center (IRC) proudly participated in the “Unity in Motion” Autism Walk, hosted at the beautiful Southern California Railway Museum in Perris, California. The event, organized by the Autism Society Inland Empire, marked a special occasion where families, community partners, and advocates came together to celebrate unity, raise awareness, and support vital services for individuals with Autism.

Despite the unexpected rain and gusty winds, the spirit of the day remained strong! Families showed incredible resilience and commitment to the cause, standing united in support of Autism acceptance. More than 3,000 families, clients and service providers attended this year’s event, making it one of the most inspiring gatherings yet!

Attendees were treated to an array of exciting activities, including scenic train rides, a lively Fun Zone, a variety of food trucks, resource booths, vendors, and much more. The day was filled with joy, connection, and a shared commitment to fostering a community of acceptance and inclusion.

IRC’s team was thrilled to engage with families, provide resources, and share information about the services and support we offer. Our staff enjoyed connecting personally with community members, answering questions, and reinforcing our dedication to the Autism community in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

Participation in the walk helps raise critical funds for programs such as family events, system navigation assistance, support groups, and social opportunities that enrich the lives of those we serve. Inland Regional Center is honored to stand alongside our community partners in creating a more inclusive future for individuals with Autism and their families.

We thank everyone who came out, walked alongside, donated, and shared in this vibrant celebration of unity and acceptance. Together, we truly are stronger!

Stay tuned for more events where IRC will continue to support and celebrate our diverse and incredible community!
