We are aware that some organizations and individuals may be offering Blue Envelope training and materials for a fee. We would like to clarify that the Inland Empire Blue Envelope Coalition provides Blue Envelopes and community education free of charge to individuals who self-identify as having an intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD) or who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH), regardless of Regional Center status.

Official Blue Envelope trainings are conducted collaboratively with Inland Regional Center (IRC), Autism Society Inland Empire, and participating local law enforcement agencies. These trainings follow the Inland Empire Blue Envelope model and the best practices that law enforcement partners are trained to recognize and support.

When looking for Blue Envelope trainings or materials, we encourage community members to look for our logo. This helps ensure that the information being shared is consistent with the model developed through our community and law enforcement partnerships.
