Thank you for participating in IRC’s recent online Police Interaction survey. Please take a moment to review the upcoming virtual Focus Group dates below. Additionally, we’ll be hosting an in-person member check-in session in late June. To attend the in-person sessions, participation in a focus group is required. During the focus group, you’ll receive a link to register for the in-person session. We’ll record each focus group to ensure data accuracy and then delete each recording afterward. However, we won’t be recording the Member Checking session and won’t allow participants to take photographs or record during the session.

We’ll also offer a light meal for your convenience and a $25 gas card. Moreover, during the Member Checking session, we will offer a brief introduction to the “Blue Envelope” program.

The Member Checking Session will help IRC ensure that the information gathered in the focus groups is correct. It’s crucial to verify that the data collected is accurate and trustworthy. Participants from the focus groups will be invited to review and share their thoughts on the initial findings during the Member Checking Session. This allows them to confirm the accuracy of their contributions.

IRC vendors, crisis teams, IRC CSCs, and law enforcement are not eligible to participate. These focus groups are specifically tailored for parents and IRC clients to share their perspectives and experiences within Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. For data accuracy, you can only attend one out of the six sessions available. Community-based organizations that have actively partnered with IRC in current and past research are welcome to attend.
