This post is intended for IRC Service Providers impacted by Rate Reform.

We want to make sure you’re fully up to speed with the changes related to Rate Reform and the Service Provider Directory. It is important that all vendors are properly listed in the Service Provider Directory. If not, it could result in payment delays or even a temporary suspension of payments.

As stated on the April 1, 2025, DDS Directive, all service providers included in rate reform must meet the required steps to get the 10% QIP for reimbursement from January 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026.  It is imperative that vendors find out their status, so they obtain their 10%.  Please review the directive and follow the DDS guidelines.

The importance of the date is stated in the last part of the directive as follows, “All active service providers are required to be in the Provider Directory as part of their vendorization requirements, regardless of QIP eligibility. The Department, in coordination with the vendoring regional center, will contact service providers that do not submit data into the Provider Directory to assist with completing this activity. The expectation is that these providers will complete this activity by May 30, 2025, to earn the benchmark rate, prospectively. Service providers will not be able to earn the QIP portion of the rate beyond this date, until the next round of Quality Incentive measures are established for the period starting July 1, 2026.”

Please ensure your company has completed all 3 steps for the Service Provider Directory. It is a DDS mandate for all vendors impacted by Rate Reform, which if not done, can result in suspension of your rates, rates taken back down 1-1-2025, and/or even suspension of your payments.

IRC understands the importance of vendors getting or not getting 10% of their yearly budget.  It is vital that all vendors review the DDS directive, follow the process, if there are questions reach out to DDS at [email protected], and ensure they meet the requirements and timelines to keep their budgets intact.

To help you stay on track, we’ve put together resources that clearly show which service codes are affected by Rate Reform. You can find these in the spreadsheets referenced below, as well as a few other helpful links.

If you have questions—or if you’re unsure whether Rate Reform affects your services—please don’t hesitate to reach out. Vendors can email the Vendorization inbox with their vendor number(s) and service code(s). From there, we’ll review your info and let you know if anything further is needed or if we need to loop in DDS.

Thanks so much for your attention to this. We appreciate your partnership!
