Service Updates from our Executive Director

Community EngagementVendor Announcements

Estimated Reading Time: 2 Minutes

This post is intended for IRC Service Providers. Clients and their families may also find this information helpful.

In light of the current public health crisis, Inland Regional Center is preparing for our Service Providers to transition to a home-based, teleservices model. It is our intent to serve our clients’ needs while also doing our part to mitigate the spread of illness.

A home-based service model utilizes digital technology to provide teleservices to clients in lieu of face-to-face interactions. For example, instead of meeting in person ABA therapists or supported living instructors would meet with clients online or over the phone.

It is our hope that Service Providers utilize technology to maintain working relationships with our clients and their support team. Below you will find a list of services/codes that are eligible for remote access services.

This situation presents us with a unique opportunity to come together in the support of our clients and the health of our communities. Through dedication, careful planning, and ingenuity we can continue to serve our valued clients.

We, alongside you as leaders in the disability field, will continue to adapt in order to meet the ever-changing needs of the IRC Community. Our Quality Assurance team will be in contact with you to provide updates as they occur.

Sincerely,

Lavinia Johnson
Executive Director
Inland Regional Center
