An audit of the Department of Developmental Services’ (DDS) oversight of the State’s in-home respite services program was conducted and reported on by the Auditor of the State of California on August 30, 2022. This report details the final conclusions as presented by the Auditor of the State of California pertaining to barriers to respite care.
