On October 29, 2025, the Inland Regional Center (IRC) once again transformed its space into a festive and vibrant hub of collaboration, hosting our Second Annual Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) Vendor Fair under the fun “Halloween Spooktacular” theme. This year’s event drew together an even larger gathering of vendors, service coordinators, and community stakeholders for a day rich with networking, resource-sharing and a little dose of Halloween magic.
As guests arrived at our conference building, they were greeted by a lively and immersive atmosphere: browsing through cobweb-draped booths, pumpkins and seasonal décor, vendors in costume, and an inviting environment that set the tone for both fun and professional growth. The theme helped break the ice—and create memorable connections.

Brooke Chambers, IRC’s ICF Program Manager, reflected on the day:
“It was incredibly rewarding to see our ICF community come together in such a joyful and engaged way. The creative spirit of our vendors and the meaningful conversations I witnessed today underscore the power of collaboration. This event has set a new benchmark for how we support one another and those we serve.”
In addition to themed décor and costumes, the fair offered robust opportunities for vendor-attendee interaction: table talks, resource exchanges, and conversations about future partnerships. Attendees came away with new contacts, fresh ideas, and renewed energy to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) for all age groups.

Don Meza, Director of Adult Services, added:
“This year’s fair wasn’t just about scenic fun—it was about strengthening our network of providers and ensuring that high-quality supports are accessible. The synergy we saw today will ripple out into better services and stronger outcomes for adults in our ICF program.”
Fun and professional development blended in a perfect event: the day featured a costume contest, a photo-booth for capturing the spirit of the moment, and informal moments of laughter and connection alongside the important work of expanding resources for our case management teams.

Monica Munguia, Community Engagement Manager, observed:
“Our goal was to make this event both meaningful and memorable—and I believe we succeeded. I heard from vendors who found new partnerships, service coordinators who discovered innovative resources, and participants who simply enjoyed connecting in a relaxed yet purposeful space. That blend of fun and function is what makes our IRC community so special.”
As the day drew to a close, it was evident that the Second Annual Vendor Fair achieved its aim: to bring the ICF support network together in a way that fosters collaboration, resource enrichment, and a sense of shared mission. It was a day of learning, connection, and a little bit of Halloween thrill.
We are deeply grateful to all of the vendors, service coordinators, staff and participants whose enthusiasm and engagement made the day such a success. Because of you, our community continues to grow stronger. See you next time!
